This Privacy Policy explains how Floor Plan AI collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our floor plan generation and review service. Last updated on June 17, 2026.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to operate and improve the service:

Account and billing information

  • Email address, basic profile information, authentication provider identifiers, and account settings.
  • Billing status, plan, credits, and transaction metadata handled with payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.

Floor plan inputs and generated outputs

  • Prompts, room dimensions, optional reference images, and related files you upload or type into the service.
  • Generated floor plan drafts, saved PNG results, project history, and processing logs needed to deliver the product.

Usage and device data

  • Feature usage, credit spend, errors, render times, browser type, approximate region, and analytics events used for reliability and product improvement.

3. Data Storage and Security

We use cloud infrastructure and reasonable technical safeguards to protect your data. Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need it to operate Floor Plan AI.

4. Upload and Project Retention

Saved project history currently keeps generated and uploaded floor plan assets for 7 days by default, or 30 days for active paid subscriptions. Retention cleanup is handled by protected maintenance tooling, and early self-service deletion is not part of the MVP yet; contact support if you need an asset removed sooner. You should not upload floor plans that contain sensitive personal information unless necessary.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with trusted providers for:

  • Hosting, storage, database, and AI processing infrastructure.
  • Payment processing, tax, fraud prevention, and billing support.
  • Analytics, monitoring, customer support, and email delivery.
  • Legal compliance, abuse prevention, or protection of rights and safety.

6. Policy Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new last-updated date and, when appropriate, additional notice.
